Rockville, MD – The American Basketball Association game scheduled for Sunday afternoon, February 25 between the Maryland Nighthawks and Richmond Ballerz has been canceled due to severe weather conditions in the Rockville, Maryland area.
The Nighthawks made it into Maryland early Sunday morning following Saturday evening’s 112-102 win in Long Island, just before freezing rain, sleet, and snow began to fall in the Washington Metropolitan area. Nighthawks' officials decided to cancel the game as a safety precaution to Nighthawk staff and fans.
Tickets for today’s game will be honored at next weekend’s game, Saturday, March 3 against the Quebec City Keb's at 7:05 PM.
