Washington, DC - The Maryland Nighthawks conducted their first Open Tryout Workout Saturday, June 24 in Washington DC. Over the coming months, dozens of potential ABA players will work out for the Nighthawks front-office and coaching staff in hopes of making a positive impression and a chance to play professional basketball.
Working out for the Nighthawks were Doyle Brown, Sean Gray, Hakim Muhammed, and Andrew Partridge. Brown is a 6"1 shooting guard from Garret Community College. Gray is 6"2 and can play both the shooting guard and small forward positions. Muhammed is a 6"4 forward out of Prince George's Community College. Partridge is 6"4 from Monroe and can play the point guard, shooting guard, and small forward positions.
